The Independent Retirement Consultants' first goal is to ask the right questions to understand the needs of the employers. Often the current Vendor can satisfy the needs of the employer. Our approach is to understand if all of the tools available from the Vendor are being properly deployed. Our experience in the market place allows us to ask the proper questions to help plan sponsors determine the potential of existing Vendors as well as alternative Vendors.
If it becomes necessary for any number of reasons to change Vendors, our specialized team assists employers through the marketing and Vendor selection process. The Vendor review process can be time-consuming, confusing, and frustrating. All too often, standard vendor-provided proposals do not include enough information to determine administrative, record keeping, compliance, and employee communication services and standards. We will help the employer with the Request for Proposal (RFP) and evaluation of vendors for final selection by the employer. This will include assistance with investment related decisions, plan design, implementation, initial communication and ongoing communication and monitoring.
